Joseph Bender- Wingwalker
Joe hails from the state of Virginia where he was born and raised within a large agricultural family Holding true to his roots, Joe currently exploits his own herd and lands all while working for others in the agricultural industry.
Joseph began his official career as a wingwalker when, well over a decade ago, he ran across Third Strike Wingwalking and we sent him on his very first wingwalk. We are thrilled to welcome him back into the fold and to resume walking on the very first aircraft he ever walked upon .
Since that fateful day, Joe has been a mainstay performer at the legendary Bealeton Flying Circus in Virginia where you can see him perform regularly throughout any given season. Aside from being an expertly versed wingwalker, Joseph has secured his Statement of Aerobatic Competency, allowing him to perform as an airshow pilot. He has many hours of flight time, including the Stearman amongst his repertoire of aircraft. We look forward to helping him further develop his aerial skillsets as a wingwalker and pilot. Joe likes cowboy boots, flying, being in nature and he has a particular fondness for motorcycles.
